Maths Olympiad

Maths Olympiad

The Math Olympiad is a team-based competition that aims to develop students' interest in math and improve their mathematical skills.
It is available for students in grades 4–12 at the national and international levels. The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) administers the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) for students in grades 1–12. The IMO test has two levels, and its goal is to identify and support students who have a strong chance of becoming future scientists or technologists.

The International Maths Olympiad (IMO) is conducted by Indian Talent Olympiad (ITO) in various schools across India. It is open to students from class 1 to class 10, and all questions are multiple-choice.
The IMO competition consists of six problems, with three problems each day over two consecutive days. Contestants have four-and-a-half hours to solve each set of three problems. Each problem is worth 7 points, for a maximum total score of 42 points.

To prepare for Olympiad exams, students can gather relevant study materials, such as Olympiad-specific study materials and sample papers. These materials can help students become familiar with the exam format and improve their problem-solving skills.
